there is no record of any confiscation of fishing gear in Prince Edward Island in the year 1901.

RAILWAY STATION AT ALBERTON, P.E.I. Mr. HACKETT asked :

1. Is it the intention of the government to build a new and suitable railway station at A11 erton. Prince County, Prince Edward Island this year ?

1. Has the attention cf the government been called to the reply of Right Honourable Joseph Chamberlain to the deputation from the Welsh Patagonia a Committee, as reported in the Times' (London, Eng.), of February 19th, as follows :-

' It struck me while you were speaking that the change of climate-from a very hot country to the terrible region of the Canadian winter-might be rather a danger to face ' ?

2. Is it the intention of the government to endeavour to disabuse Mr. Chamberlain's mind of his mistaken views respecting the winter climate of Canada, (a.) by sending to him a copy of Hon. Mr. Sifton's Atlas of Western Canada ; or (b.) to request the Canadian lady teachers when passing through London, en route to South Africa, to wait upon the Colonial Secretary, and furnish him with data shewing the delightful nature of the winter climate of Canada ?

3. Is it the intention of the Prime Minister, on his approaching visit to England, to further endeavour to remove such erroneous notions ?
