What would be the total cost of the Parkhill buildings the cost of land and the amount necessary to complete the building ?
Sir. PUGSLEY.
It is on a site 50 by 150. We have been for a good while negotiating with regard to a lot and as a result of the negotiations, in which we were very materially assisted by Sir. Ratz, the member for Sliddlesex, the Grand Trunk gave the land free to the government. We have only succeeded in getting a title very recently. Therefore plans have not been prepared and no contract has yet been let. The population is about 1,750. The chief architect says the plans will be for a building to cost about $20,000.
