1. Shigawake East Post Office is to be established on the 3rd May, 1917, with mail service twice a day from the Gaspe and Matapedia Railway post office.

2. The postmaster elect, W. D. Sullivan, will perform the service at $80 per annum.

3 and 4. The offer received from the postmaster elect being reasonable, it was not considered necessary to invite public tenders. It is the usual practice in offices of small revenue to award the contracts to the postmaster if his offer is a reasonable one.
