Mr. BUREAU:

My hon. friend supposes

that every man who has paid into the superannuation fund and is not now in the service has drawn superannuation. Let me remind my hon. friend that the fund rests on an actuarial basis. Further, my hon. friend is under the impression that in the case of a man who paid into the superannuation fund for thirty or thirty-five years and then died the superannuation went to his family. But the fact is that in the past the money remained in the fund; his widow or family did not draw superannuation.

Mr. CALDWELL:

Just there, does not

the widow get the superannuation?

At six o'clock the House adjourned, without question being put, pursuant to rule.
