5. Mrs. Legere's husband was postmaster up to the 19th August, 1926. In June, 1926, charges of active political partisanship made against the postmaster were investigated and proven. The office was transferred to Mrs. Legere in August, 1926. In November, 1926, the office was transferred to Archie Desroche.
