The amount is required to complete the construction of a breakwater 100 feet in length by 18 feet in width in round timber open faced cribwork, well ballasted with stone and sheathed and covered with spruce deals. The estimated cost is given at $1,700; materials purchased in 1928-29, $500; and balance required to complete $1,200.
