This amount of $5,000 is required for the purchase of the property owned by Mrs. J. W. V. Lawlor, situated on Prince and Duke streets, adjoining the Lancaster hospital premises. The purchase of this property was requested by the deputy minister of health in a communication dated October 7, 1929, in which he urged it very strongly.
