When necessity for medical examination of employees arises, the matter is placed in the hands of the Department of Pensions and National Health, which department instructs its local medical officers to act.

3. Only for the time required to make the actual examination and report. For this

service Dr. MacPherson charged $3. Such charges are paid by the Department of Railways and Canals.
