Mr. HOWARD:

We have succeeded in getting the tribunal to sit in Sherbrooke once. There were fifteen cases on the docket. The tribunal spent only one day there, heard five cases, and then moved on to another centre, just as the hon. member for South Perth (Mr. Sanderson) had said. Of the five cases heard two were immediately dismissed and in the other three the applicants were granted extensions of pensions. But those three cases were appealed, and not a thing was done for any of the applicants. One of those is the most glaring case I have had anything to dp with. It is an absolute shame. If I were to make any suggestion it would be that the decisions of these tribunals be final.

Item stands.
