Charles Avery Dunning (Minister of Finance and Receiver General)

Mr. DUNNING:

I have received advice from the superintendent of insurance, who would be the natural officer to receive it, that no such request has been received by him. I have no knowledge of any such request being received by any officer of the government. If this answer is not satisfactory, an order for return might be made, which would enable it to be looked into by all departments. Perhaps an order for return would be the best solution.
