Mr. E. E. PERLEY (Qu'Appelle):

I should like to ask a question of the Minister of Trade and Commerce (Mr. Euler). A few days ago he promised to bring down correspondence between the grain board and himself or members of the cabinet relative to the setting of the price of wheat last fall. Can he say when it will be brought down?

Hon. W. D. EULER (Minister of Trade and Commerce):

I regret that I did not bring down the one letter which was received from the chairman, but I can give the contents. The letter was to the effect that the wheat board recommended a price of 80 cents, which recommendation of course was acted upon by the government. That is the only correspondence, and there are no telegrams.

UNITED STATES TARIFF

COLLECTION OP DUTY ON CATTLE OF OWNER OF LANDS CONTIGUOUS TO INTERNATIONAL BOUNDARY

On the orders of the day: Mr. JEAN-FRANCOIS POULIOT (Temis-couata): I regret that the Prime Minister and Secretary of State for External Affairs (Mr. Mackenzie King) is not in the house at the moment. I have received to-day the following telegram from Mr. Ludger Richard, the former mayor of Estcourt, Quebec. It refers to a matter which has been standing for several months, a boundary matter. The telegram reads: What shall I do if my cattle and horses are seized? Pay? Let them be slaughtered? Or ask for permit? Notify by wire. I wished to ask the Prime Minister what he would do if he were member for Temiscouata. I shall have to ask the question of the Minister of Justice.
