Mr. WRIGHT:
I am discussing the policy of the Canadian government-
Mr. MITCHELL:
What my hon. friend said was this-
Mr. WRIGHT:
Just a minute.
Mr. HACKETT:
May I remind the minister that it is eleven o'clock.
Mr. WRIGHT:
I was reminding the minister that the profits made by companies in this country are many times greater than they were in the thirties; more than three times greater.
The CHAIRMAN:
Order. The hon. member for Stanstead has pointed out that it is eleven o'clock. Can section 4 carry?
Carried.
No.
Mr. PROBE:

The CHAIRMAN:
It is not for the Chairman to make such a ruling. If some member of the committee would like to move that the committee rise, report progress and ask leave to sit again I shall put the motion.

Mr. MARTIN:
I rise to a point of order.
The CHAIRMAN:
I do not see that what the hon. gentleman is quoting is relevant to this debate.
Mr. PROBE:
If you will just let me complete what I am saying-
Mr. MARTIN:
I move that the committee rise, report progress, and ask leave to sit again.
Progress reported.
