Second, he himself volunteered the statement that he was about to cross the floor of the house and that he was gradually preparing for it.
Mr. LACOMBE:
I never said that; I deny this.
Mr. MACKENZIE:

Third, I never promised not to touch his constituency. I could not carry out such a promise. No one who is reasonable will believe that I made such a promise. The hon. member knows or should know that I did not make such a promise, but he may not remember what took place.

I do not know what the hon. member is about to say, but his insinuation is absolutely false.
