Mr. Fournier (Hull):

On Monday next the Minister of Trade and Commerce (Mr. Howe) will proceed with the motion to set up a special committee on atomic energy. Then the Minister of Reconstruction and Supply (Mr. Winters) will proceed with the resolution concerning the National Housing Act, 1944; then the resolution to introduce the measure to assist in the construction of the trans-Canada highway. That would be the program.

However, during the day I should like to move to go into supply, and call one item in the Department of External Affairs, because we shall try to have the minister for that department here one day to have a general discussion on his estimates. At the moment it is difficult to have him here. Therefore if I can get into supply I would call one item.

If we conclude all that business we will take up Bills 64 and 65.
