Mr. Speaker, I must register the strongest protest against the passage of these bills. About one hundred divorce bills are now before the house and, unfortunately, new batches of them keep coming every two weeks in ever growing numbers.

I wish to protest against a state of affairs that I find deplorable in the extreme. I should have been very glad to see five members rise with me and request a division on those bills, so as to drown them out for good by an overwhelming majority.
