To date no land has been acquired for the erection of a marker to commemorate Count de la Boular-darie at Little Bras d'Or, Nova Scotia. Prospective sites are presently being examined with a view to acquiring one in the near future.

2. In 1967 a surface reconnaissance was carried out in the area of the Boulardarie settlement as part of long term research project investigations into early settlements. No excavations are anticipated in the immediate future.

3. The unveiling ceremony is planned for the fall of 1968.
