Mr. SPEAKER:

I have the honour to
inform the house that a message has been received from the senate informing this house that the senate do insist upon its amendment to Bill No. 97, to Amend the Combines Investigation Act, for the reason that the amendment is necessary to accord witnesses the reasonable protection vouchsafed them in all British courts.
