Clarence Decatur Howe (Minister of Reconstruction and Supply)
Liberal
Right Hon. C. D. HOWE (Minister of Reconstruction and Supply):
Mr. Speaker, the report has just been called to my attention. It is a fact that Mr. David Rosenberry, who has been associated with timber control for the past six years, has tendered his resignation, to take effect on August 15. He has been suffering from overwork for some time and felt that he must be relieved so that he could take a prolonged holiday before returning to his private business. Consideration is being given to his successor, and the most suitable man seems to be the present coordinator of housing, Mr. Terrence Flahiff. It is the present intention to recommend Mr. Flahiff to succeed Mr. Rosenberry.
