John Decore

Liberal

Mr. Decore:

Is that the reason why most of the Liberals lost their deposits?
I should like to remind this house of another incident that took place in 1940. In 1940 a by-election was held in the Vegreville provincial constituency, which is in my constituency. At that time the hon. member for Peace River (Mr. Low), who is the leader of the Social Credit group in this house, was elected to the provincial house by acclamation. Was it the communists that in 1940 elected him by acclamation to the provincial house?
