Right Hon. J. G. Gardiner (Minister of Agriculture) moved

that the house go into committee at the next sitting to consider the following resolution:
That it is expedient to introduce a measure to amend the Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Act to provide for the appointment and superannuation of certain officers and employees necessary for carding out the provisions of the act, and to provide further that no projects involving an expenditure in excess of ten thousand dollars shall be undertaken without the consent of the governor in council.
