Mr. Knowles:

May I say a word with regard to the suggestion of continuing this debate on Monday, April 21? If the government does accede to the request of the leader of the opposition that that be done, would the government consider substituting some other day later on in the session rather than taking away another private members' day? I am not asking for a decision now. But when the Prime Minister asks for unanimous consent on Monday, April 21, it would make it easier for hon. members to decide what to do if some alternative suggestion could be made with respect to-
