1. Has Chief Dave Courchene of the Fort Alexander Indian band in Manitoba made application or representations to the Indian affairs branch and/or the office of the Department of Manpower in Manitoba for the basic upgrading of forty-two Indian people in his band who are unemployed and eligible for training under the occupational training for adults legislation?
2. If so, what consideration, if any, did the respective departments give to the request of Chief Courchene?
3. With respect to his request, did the Indian affairs branch indicate to him that the branch would provide welfare for the people on course in lieu of allowances?
