3. In 1908, representations were made to the department that the Kensington wharf was in a very bad state of repair; a report was secured from Mr. J. G. Sing, district engineer, who estimated at $3,300 the cost of rebuilding and repairing the present structure which belongs to the Hiawatha Land Company.
