Mr. P. B. Rynard (Simcoe North):

Mr. Speaker, I wish to direct a question to the Minister of Labour. The International Labour Organization meeting in Geneva has expressed very deep concern at the rapidly increasing, aging labour force which will put a severe strain on resources, social security and pension systems, and have recommended that older workers should be free to choose when to retire, depending on their health and capabilities. Has the Department of Labour made any study, or does it propose to do so, and does it have a labour representative at Geneva?
