CON

Pierre Édouard Blondin (Minister of Inland Revenue)

Conservative (1867-1942)

Mr. BLONDIN:

I have here a comparative statement of receipts for the months of August, September, October, November and December, in the years 1913-14 and 1914-15. For the five months in 1914-15 the receipts were $1,363,859, against $1,074,000 for the five months in 1913-14, or an increase of $289,859. Although during a certain period in the present year, the revenue was not what it was expected to be, yet by the first of February we had collected as much in ten months as we collected in the whole of 1914.
