George Gibson Coote
United Farmers of Alberta
Mr. COOTE:
I would be one of the last
men in this house, Mr. Speaker, to dispute your ruling, but I submit that I have not discussed the motion standing in my name. I have simply attempted to correct some figures which have been placed on Hansard and which appear in the Montreal Star of the
Supply-M iscellaneous
first of March. I think that is a privilege which should be accorded any hon. member on a motion to go into supply. I thank you, Mr. Speaker, for the opportunity for correcting those figures. I have not done it as completely as I should like to have done, but I do not wish to run the risk of even seeming to challenge your ruling, Mr. Speaker.
Motion agreed to and the house went into committee of supply, Mr. Hanson (York-Sun-bury) in the chair.
