1. Is Mr. W. D. Herridge, described in the report of the Imperial conference, part 1. page 11, as "personal assistant to the Prime Minister" the same gentleman who was appointed recently as Canadian Minister at Washington?

2. Is the office of "personal assistant to the Prime Minister" a permanent position, and will Mr. Herridge be replaced?
