Mr. Speaker, I should like to draw attention to the fact that on March 14 a motion for the production of papers was passed, concerning information which it should not have taken more than two days to prepare, because it is all available here in Ottawa. As yet, however, that return has not been brought down.

Will the government at this session of parliament take proceedings necessary to create the district of Mackenzie in Northwest Territories of Canada an electoral district, entitled to elect a member to represent it in the House of Commons of Canada, separate and apart from Yukon Territory, formerly the electoral district of Yukon?

Perhaps the minister would inform the committee whether any arrangements are being made for the repayment of this vote. Is this money being made available to the fishermen of Nova Scotia to go fishing with British Columbia bait or is it an outright gift? Is the government now supplying bait so that fishermen can go fishing?
