Mr. SANDERSON:

Perhaps I can throw

some light on the situation. I believe the hon. member for West Calgary (Mr. Bennett) is referring to me and, if he is, he may say so. At a meeting in South Perth, at which the Minister of Railways (Mr. Dunning) was present, I stated that the hon. member for West Calgary spoke against the old age pension resolution as brought into the House of Commons last March. I repeat that to-night on the floor of this House and I am prepared to defend the advertisement to which he has referred and to speak of that later. I have the advertisement with me and if I may be permitted to-night, I will read the advertisement and I will take back nothing I said in it.

Mr. SANDERSON:

What would the hon. member call the common sense way, and what does he mean when he refers to a provisional government?

Mr. SANDERSON:

Will the hon. gertle-man permit a question?

Mr. SANDERSON:

Mr. Chairman, I would request that the hon. member either speak louder or come down to the centre of the chamber so we can hear what he is talking about. It may interest us, and if so we would like to know what he is saying. We can hear nothing at all while he remains in his present position.
