Mr. Bentley:

I have a question to ask that I should like to have answered if possible. The minister has been most gracious tonight and has cleared up some points that were doubtful in our minds. There is one section of the agricultural industry which has not been dealt with tonight. About ten days or two weeks ago the poultry association presented to the minister a brief which asked definitely for federal centralization of the export marketing of eggs. I think that this must be one section of the agricultural industry which is not too happy with this bill.

Mr. Bentley:

May I ask a question? If Manitoba passes that legislation, is the statement that the minister has just made definite government policy, that coarse grains will be dealt with in that way?

It was the best we could squeeze out of your minister. That is the reason we took it.
