I rise to a point of order. Surely the leader of the opposition has not the right to impute to the hon. member for Portage la Prairie an attempt to mislead the house. The right hon. gentleman said, " An attempt to leave an impression that was not warranted by the facts." I submit that I am not- out of order, for this reason: I am suggesting an extension of this bill. It has been stated that the obligation to pay interest on bonds is a contractual obligation, and therefore there is no way of cutting down the interest on those bonds until they mature and can be called in. I am submitting that just as the wages of the judiciary can be cut down by special taxation as in this bill, so can the wages of bonds be cut down by special taxation. I believe that when I suggest an extension of this bill to cover the wages of bonds-of money-I am not out of order, but of course if, Mr. Chairman, you rule me out of order I shall accept your ruling.
