Hon. W. M. Benidickson (Minister of Mines and Technical Surveys):
1. (a) 1963 (b) 1965. Advance chapters of this volume, in the form of individual preprints, were issued earlier, beginning in May of 1962 in the case of the English edition, and in August of 1962 in the case of the French edition.
2. (a) and (b) The English edition of The Canadian Mineral Industry, 1962 was issued in June of 1964; the French edition is at the printing stage. Advance chapters, in the form of individual preprints, were issued to the public beginning in June and October of 1963, respectively. Both French and English editions of The Canadian Mineral Industry, 1963 are in varying stages of production and printing. Advance chapters were issued beginning in April of 1964 (English edition) and November 1964 (French edition).
3. Every effort is being made to speed the production of this publication. Delays in the issuing of the French edition reflect the time required for translation, editing and preparation of copy; but it is expected that with the help of additional staff it will be possible to reduce this time difference to a minimum.
