That he was asked to name three men, one from each battery, and that he did so, but that not one of them was selected. He felt, and the whole corps feel, that they have been slighted. I believe I am correct in saying that the minister declared it was the intention that each corps should have a representative, in which case this corps is an exception, and some explanation is due.
