I do not know it. But I am free to say to the hon. member for North Grey (Mr. Middlebro) that I think if these men will formulate a straight demand as to what they want, the government will do something for them.

I believe, as I said before, that if this question is brought before the government in a concrete form, the government will do something for these men,

I am thoroughly convinced of that. But this resolution is indefinite, it merely asks the government: What are you going to do? There is no suggestion as to what the government should do, it merely asks that something be done. The government are ready to do something for these veterans,

I am thoroughly convinced of it, if they will only formulate a reasonable and concrete demand.

1. Is there a principal medical officer for Quebec command? If so, what is his name and how long has he held the appointment?

2. Does he receive pay for the appointment? If so, how much has he received?

3. What are the duties of his position, and has he performed them satisfactorily?

4. When did he last attend annual training?

5. Is it the intention of the government to retain him in this position for any length of time?
